A First-Ever Sponsorship Strategy for Belfast City Council

Belfast City Council has appointed PHAR as its first official sponsorship consultancy, aiming to generate a new source of commercial income for the city.

The Council is the owner of a number of major landmarks, including Waterfront Hall, International Convention Centre, Ulster Hall and St George’s Market.  In addition, the Council delivers a full programme of events such as St Patrick’s Daty Parade and Christmas Lights Switch-On, and popular initiatives such as the city’s bike share scheme.

PHAR has been appointed to create a strategic framework to enable the potential of these assets and initiatives as sponsorship opportunities to be maximised.

Following Belfast’s successful bid to host The Fleadh – the world’s largest festival of traditional Irish music and culture – PHAR has also been appointed to create a programme of sponsorship packages to enable brands to be a part of the event and to engage with the anticipated 800,000+ visitors.
