PHAR to Measure New Contactless Partnership Between Chase and Transport for London

Chase has been announced as TfL’s new Official Payment Partner.  Following on from GPay’s successful 5-year partnership, Chase’s sponsorship provides prominent branding on over 5,000 contactless Oyster readers across Londin Underground, London Overground, Elizabeth Line and DLR networks, alongside a range of other branding and activation rights.

The partnership complements Chase’s cashback offer, which features 1% cashback on everyday transport throughout the UK – including contactless travel on Tube, bus and rail services across the capital.

To ensure the sponsorship’s success is properly measured PHAR has been appointed by Chase and TfL to design and manage a bespoke research study, to track the sponsorship’s impact on key brand metrics, building on PHAR’s long-standing relationship of providing sponsorship research and consultancy to TfL.
